Joseph Jaap teaches at Construction Law Seminar on Mechanic’s Liens
Joe returned to the classroom in May as teacher at an all-day seminar for construction professionals, developers, contractors, and attorneys. Joe is a regular speaker at construction seminars providing advice and instruction regarding mechanic’s liens, construction payment, and related construction contracting topics. May’s seminar covered the required steps to obtain valid mechanic’s liens in Ohio. There are many procedural requirements, and failure to follow them invalidates a lien.
Mechanic’s liens may be filed for work on homes as well as commercial projects. If you have questions about contracting for an upcoming construction project, have problems on a current project, seek payment on a completed project and need to file a lien, need to remove a lien, or would like to receive notice of Joe’s next seminar, call him directly at 513 533-2037.
